古人说"一滴精，十滴血"，是怎么回事吗？

意思是说十滴血液才能生产一滴精液，精液比血液宝贵，其实是民间流传的一种错误的说法。

中医是这么认为的：肾为先天之本，主藏精，人的气血生成要靠精气来化生，气血旺盛，又可以转化为精，藏之与肾，所以又有“精血同源”之说。

精液是由精子和精浆组成，所含的成分中90%以上是水分，另外含有少量的蛋白质、脂类、糖、酶类、无机盐和锌等微量元素。所以说精液也没有所说的那么宝贵。

血本源于先天之精，而生成于后天饮食水谷；精的形成，亦靠后天饮食所化生，故有“精血同源”之说，精血的盈亏决定人体的健康与否。中医的精、血均为机体物质基础，属阴，精为阴中之阳，血为阴中之阴。

中医学的精有多种含义。精的本始含义，是指具有繁衍后代作用的生殖之精，如《素问·上古天真论》说：男子“二八……精气溢泻，阴阳和，故能有子。”此称为狭义之精，是中医学精概念产生的始基。

从精华、精微之意的角度出发，人体之内的血、津液、髓以及水谷精微等一切精微物质，均属于精的广义范畴。

从具体物质的生成与功能而言，精与血、津液、髓的概念是有区别的。一般说来，精概念的范畴，仅限于先天之精、水谷之精、生殖之精及脏腑之精，并不包含血、津液及髓。

精与气相对而言，精属阴而有形，藏寓于脏腑之中；气属阳而无形，运行于全身上下内外。
